Waldorf Montessori

Montessori and Waldorf are the fastest growing educational systems in the world today.

Both systems are based on many years of experience, with all kinds of children, all over the world. They have great respect for the child as an individual, spiritual, creative being. They place great importance on protecting the child from the pressures of modern life, such as the fast pace or the excessive use and abuse of technology, from television, mobile phones and computers. They care about the education of the whole being, spiritual, mental, physical, above any specific academic curriculum. They emphasize the importance of the natural environment in the development of life, maintaining contact with nature and natural materials. They base their education on the needs of the child, believing that this will lead to meeting the needs of society as a whole. Both schools provide a rich variety of art, music, dance and theater for all ages.

Incidentally, both Montessori and Waldorf schools were closed by the Nazi regime during World War II because they refused to teach the ideology of the state.
