This unique "miniature" spinner takes its name from its creator, Helene. What really makes her special and noteworthy are the wooden "captive rings" that hula hoop around her as she moves. These are made by Helene at the same time in a single piece of fine grained cherry, plum or apple wood, so they remain permanently attached to the wooden spindle of the spinning wheel. Imagine the level of technique required to cut, shape and polish such an intricate and delicate object. It seems almost impossible. Available in a stylish box with a 6.5 x 6.5cm wooden turntable. It is offered in three sizes (Ø 22mm , Ø 48mm, Ø 95mm).
